  • What is the earliest I can Check-in?

    Standard check-in time is 2pm.

  • Can I arrive late?

    Yes, please give us a call if you're wanting to arrive after 7pm.

  • Do you have undercover parking?

    Yes, every room has undercover parking.

  • Are your rooms non-smoking?

    Yes, ALL rooms at Affordable Gold City Motel (AGC Motel) are NON-SMOKING. However there are areas set aside for this purpose. For guest Safety ALL Rooms are fitted with Photoelectric Smoke alarms which detects all senses/odour/illicit drugs (Fines occur if not complied)

  • Do you have a restaurant?

    Even though we don’t have a restaurant, there are ample eateries in town or most do also deliver. So, you have plenty of options if you wish not to cater for yourself

  • Do you have wireless internet in guest rooms?

    Yes, free high-speed Wi-Fi is available for the guests.

  • How close are you to the shops?

    We are located just under 2 kms from the City Centre at the Post Office. Yes, can you believe we are still classed as a CITY from the Gold Rush Days, even though it ONLY takes less than 10mins to drive across town.

  • How close are you to restaurants?

    Within walking distance (10-20mins) there is the Golf Club which is open every day for a game of Golf or quench your thirst. You could be tempted to try their Friday night Buffet. Bookings preferred.


    The RSL Club is open for Evening Meals on Friday night & Sunday Lunch. Bookings preferred

  • How do I guarantee by booking?

    BOOKING/PAYMENT – When booking your accommodation, a Credit Card will be required to process the booking to secure your room. If your Card can not be processed at the time of booking, your room is not secured.

  • Do you have a gym?

    No, We do not have a Gym on premises BUT there are plenty to choose from in the town area.

  • What is your Cancellation Policy?

    Cancellations MUST be made at least 48hrs prior to the check-in date & time. Cancellations received less than 48hrs, the FULL amount of the first night cancelled will be charged. REFUNDS - If cancelled prior to your 48hrs, you will be refunded via your credit card.

  • Do you have an outdoor entertainment area?

    Yes, we have a garden BBQ area.
